This tight knit family run establishment is key for having the ideal amenities all around you. A Wendy's, A &W, Wal-Mart, car problems, or camping equipment for your trip out before leaving the motel, well there is a Canadian Tire as well.. Oh Harvey's too!... Clean rooms nice units basketball net... Nice furniture... So yea. 5 stars for not having the continental breakfast. If it had that then maybe i would give them 6 stars. In my opinion. TRUST me. I've been to nice motels but the way its run is NO GOOD. BUT THE AMERICAN HAS IT ON POINT. END OF DISCUSSION.
Nicely renovated and clean sleeping here. I spent a week and a bit here and was treated like gold. Good family owned business with the customer in mind. Was happy with my stay and would highly recommend this spot.
My wife and I have had the honor of staying at the American Motel 2 times since far and every time we have been here the staff and owners have been amazing and willing to help with any of our requests or issues... mind you there hasn't been any issues whatsoever. The rooms are more like an apartment than a room and have everything to make us feel comfortable and safe. We WILL be back here many more times in the future just because of the way they run the hotel everyone is more like family than customers.
had my room upgraded twice during my 1 week stay. The internet was very fast for a hotel! The younger staff members are good but if you get the old guy on the phone when calling front desk you might as well hang up because despite what you tell him nothing happens.
I love The American, one of the few places that are down to earth. They do everything they can to really make it convenient for you, flexible and accommodating. Great place to stay anytime!
This is my motel of choice. The staff is kind and helpful. They are always ready to serve and if anyone has a problem they are right on it to correct it and make sure you enjoy your stay and you are comfortable. I have never know any motel or hotel to be so friendly and pretty much treat you like family. Thank-you to the staff at American Plaza Motel for making our stay and safe and enjoyable one. :)
Found this gem in London With great prices. Stayed here for 2-3 nights. Front reception was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Thank you for the great service
It was my first time in London, and the American Plaza Motel was such a great find! The front desk person was very kind to check me in late evening without a reservation. He assured anything I need I could ask for. The room was perfect, temperate with a large closet nook and dresser for multiple people. The bed was freshly dressed, and the bathroom was updated and bright. No bugs is also always a win! The location is great for someone who is not familiar with the area; there's lots of late night fast food options down the road, and it's on a convenient bus route to downtown. I was really happy I could support a local business on short notice instead of going to a chain :o). Happy stays!!! <3
